Our Holiday Wish To You

During this holiday season and with Christmas approaching, I reflect back on a year that was eventful to say the least no matter how you look at it personally and/or professionally.

As we look toward 2010, I want to say thank you to all my family, friends, colleagues, and clients in and out of the industry for your support and confidence in me, my company and our services.  I send along my personal holiday wish and a few words of wisdom from the lyrics of my favorite Christmas music written and performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

If you have never had the chance to hear the music from Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas Eve and Other Stories CD and read the back story and lyrics, due yourself a favor and check out their website, buy the CD, read the story and lyrics, listen to the music and be ready for an enchanting experience.  If you ever get the chance see their live annual Christmas tour don’t think about it, JUST GO!  I have seen them since their very first show in Philadelphia 14 years ago and never miss them.  For me, it signifies the start of the holiday season. The concert, narrated story and light show will absolutely blow you away.
Anyway, while some of you may have had a challenging year, please know that in the wonder of the holiday season that “the magic that we seek, as we’re sure you have discovered can be found in certain places far more easily than others.”  Make the place you are this holiday season a place filled with love and magic.

No matter how tough the economy may seem to you, other were affected far worse.  Be grateful and give what you can to help someone you don’t know and do so anonymously so that only the giver and receiver know in your hearts the beauty of your gift.

“If you want to arrange it, this world you can change it, if we could somehow make this Christmas thing last.  By helping a neighbor, or even a stranger, and to know needs help, you need only just ask.”

Instead of returning favors for those who have done favors for you, or expecting someone you have done a favor for to pay you back, pay it forward and do a favor for someone unexpectedly and anonymously (like a secret Santa).  Please keep in mind as you consider who needs your blessings and help this holiday season that we should approach everyone “
knowing every man’s our brother, and every child is ours.”

Let the holiday spirit and magic in the air fill you and your family with peace, love and happiness, and know that in giving of yourself you will receive so much more in return.  The promise of magic is in “every gift that someone gives expecting nothing in back.  It’s every kindness that we do, each simple little act.”

My holiday wish for: Please enjoy this holiday season.  Be safe, be happy and be with loved ones and friends.  We wish you, your family and your company a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza, Felice Navidad, Happy New Year or whatever other holiday celebration you deem appropriate.

All the best!
